We are thrilled to announce that the fantastic soundtrack composed by Spanish composer Gonzalo Alonso is now available on Spotify.

Gonzalo Alonso's Soundtrack

This is an emotional orchestral score that seeks to reflect both the landscape and the protagonist's inner journey. Interestingly, the music was crafted between Aragon and abroad, featuring a collaboration with the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra to bring cinematic depth and grandeur to the vineyard landscapes.

The album features 19 tracks. Some evocative titles that highlight the narrative include "El bosque y el mar" (The Forest and the Sea — the beginning in Galicia), "Primer día de vendimia" (First Day of Harvest), and "La densidad del vino" (The Density of Wine).

Cariñena, Wine of the Sea (2024)

Directed by Javier Calvo Torrecilla and set in the 1970s during the Spanish Transition, the film chronicles the journey (both physical and emotional) of a young man moving from the coast of Galicia to the dry vineyard lands of Aragon.

Based on the autobiographical novel by writer and journalist Antón Castro, the story explores the quest for identity, first love, and the contrast between two opposing worlds: the sea and the land.
